EcoRec is specialized in collecting, temporary storage, packaging and transportation of out of use automotive catalytic converters, as well as electronic and electric equipment and their components.
An auto catalyst is coated with a solution of chemicals and platinum group metals.
In electronic scrap Precious metals occur as platings of various thicknesses, relay contact points, switch contacts, and wires, or in solders.
